The Department and the Scientific Team

In addition to the Foundation’s workshops, the Department of Conservation and Restoration coordinates rigorous conservation and restoration work on the most diverse materials, objects and decorations, leading the professionals of the Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva Foundation to carry out interventions on national and international artistic heritage, while also dedicating their attention to work in the recovery of private mobile heritage with the same professionalism and expertise. The set of technicians specialised in conservation and restoration, supported by the latest technologies and associated with masters of the traditional crafts, make the Foundation’s conservation and restoration activity a national and international benchmark.
