Embracing the Future and Preserving the Past – Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva Foundation
Contemporary design pieces produced by Designers and FRESS Masters that preserve and reinvent traditional Portuguese crafts. In partnership with Passa ao Futuro.
The synergies between FRESS Masters and national and international contemporary designers are presented to the public at ARCO Lisboa 2019, symbolising a turning point in the 66-year history of the Ricardo do Espírito Santo Silva Foundation.
By respecting the knowledge and techniques of traditional crafts, FRESS embraces the 21st century with the launch of a limited edition catalogue and innovative pieces that integrate materials and techniques tested over several decades by the Masters of the FRESS workshops.
